The lighting concept was centered around the isolation these characters felt when they encountered new problems and change. I wanted to be able to show their feelings and isolation in this way, so I used down light for each of my focus pints, shutter cut into rigid squares. This allowed me to be able to isolate a single character when the need arose. The color palette for this show was a bleaker look at reality, with nothing too saturated, using colors that show how cold and alone these characters feel.
