A Streetcar Named Desire

The use of shadow was an important quality to the show,  as well as a desire to have Blanche shy away from the light and try to recede into the safety of shadows. The heat was another key component to help escalate the scenes when needed. To further enhance the feeling of heat and oppression I used more saturated colors to help convey the muggy feeling of the New Orleans environment. This was a sharp contrast to the night scenes which were cooler and used more calm, soothing colors.
